The Role
The Key Account Manager (KAM) will build and maintain relationships with our key clients in the USA and will be responsible for contract renewals, upsells and cross-sells. In this role, you will be in charge of a large portion of the company's revenue by renewing and growing existing key accounts. The ideal person will be capable of building strong relationships with strategic customers and able to identify the demands and requirements to promote our company’s solutions.
This role can be based in either NYC or San Francisco.

We kick off conversations with qualified leads and nurture existing relationships and work with companies of all kinds, from other tech startups to global luxury brands. Skill Set
- Experience in a SaaS account management or sales function of B2B platforms in the US market
- Align with AB Tasty core values: customer satisfaction, agility, team spirit, enthusiasm, kindness
- Demonstrable and proven experience retaining and expanding accountsGood working knowledge of digital marketing
- Proven experience implementing customer retention initiatives, achieving high retention rates and client satisfaction
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation techniques and the ability to deal with decision makers, mostly Heads of Marketing and Product Departments
- Ability to draft clear and concise reports and presentations
- Ability to deal with several different activities in parallel
- Strong attention to detail, able to anticipate and identify problems
- Strong team player, tenacious, and results-drivenWorking knowledge of sales tools, including Salesforce
- Excellent presentation and communication skills and presence
- Comfortable with working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to legally work in the US (sponsorship not available)
What you'll do
- Develop relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure their continuous engagement with the AB Tasty platform
- Drive client retention and client satisfaction
- Acquire a thorough understanding of clients needs and requirements
- Propose solutions that meet the client’s objectives and changing demands
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to clients in a timely manner
- Expand the relationships with existing clients engaging through all possible forms of contact, from in-person meetings to weekly calls
- Serve as the link of communication between clients and internal teams to increase impact
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by clients and manage complaints in order to maintain trust
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Negotiate contract renewals and expansion opportunities
- Assist in gathering client feedback, defining processes, and identifying best practices
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
