Life Sciences GxP Compliance Sales Specialist (New York, NY)

We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, and hungry pre-sales Life Sciences GxP Compliance Specialist who will contribute to our growth in regulated content management within the industry. As Life Sciences GxP Compliance Specialist, you will help drive sales for our GxP Validation product, evangelize the the use of Box Cloud Content Management for use cases that require handling of GxP regulated content in functional areas of clinical development, drug manufacturing and commercial operations. You will work closely with the Managing Director for Life Sciences and Box to provide feedback/customer insights to the GxP marketing and product teams. You should demonstrate understanding of regulated processes and workflows within the pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO and Medical Device market. As a specialist, you should be familiar with requirements for GxP validation for cloud systems and be able to communicate clearly with Quality Assurance (QA)/Regulatory Affairs (RA) teams responsible for validation of software systems. Day to day responsibilities include working with Box Enterprise Account Executives, Sales Engineers and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and their accounts to identify, develop, and manage Box GxP Validation up-sells, cross-sells, and net-new business deals. This is a quota carrying position.
You will:
- Partner with Box Account Executives to identify and close GxP Validation opportunities within install and net new Life Sciences accounts accounts
- Lead discovery and qualification conversations with Line of Business execs and Departmental IT groups of R&D, Quality and Commercial operations
- Understand the content management landscape and position Box as a GxP compliant CCM solution
- Engage with Quality Assurance/Regulatory groups with customers to explain how Box GxP Validation service works to meet FDA regulations (21CFR, Part11)
- Assist industry team and product marketing in the development and propagation of enablement material to the field
- Work with field sales, inside and outbound teams on GxP validation demand generating campaigns
- Develop a GTM plan for the EMEA region with direction from Life Sciences MD
- Lead customer presentations/discussions about Life Sciences use cases for regulated content that can be enabled with GxP Validation
- Lead efforts with customers to set up GxP audits with Box compliance
- Lead deal quotes, pricing assist, and negotiation
- Lead deal inspection, forecast calls participation, territory management, update SFDC (CRM)
- Provide deal dynamics intelligence: requirements, decision criteria, roadblocks, timeline, budget, competitors
- Provide GxP Validation training and be a subject matter expert at the following business critical events:
- Sales Kickoff
- QBRs
- Field Events
- Executive Center Presentations
- Resource support
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-year degree required
- 5+ Years in selling Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions in Life Sciences
- 5+ Years in an enterprise selling environment in Life Sciences industy (Pharma/Biotech/Med Device/CRO)
- Proven ability to quickly gain trust with sales leadership and customer prospects
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for broad audiences
- Highly organized with extraordinary follow up skills
- SaaS and Content Management experience a plus, but not required
- Passion for cloud technologies
- Excellent written and oral communication
- A great can-do attitude and wired to collaborate with the team
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work within a team as well as using their own initiative
- Able to travel to customers and train off-site
