You will be responsible for shaping our BDR strategy while leading a diverse team of BDRs in reporting into the Head of Sales - America.
Responsibilities
- Set the business development priorities and key selling strategies to achieve sales objectives
- Define processes and procedures for the growing team of BDRs
- Drive adoption of a continuously improve the successful utilization of tools such as LinkedIn, Outreach and Gong
- Provides directional leadership for a fast growing team of BDRs
- Lead the daily activities and quota performance management of individual BDRs
- Consistently meets/exceeds outline individual and team metrics (quarterly and annually)
- Continue to build and strengthen your team through recruiting, hiring and development strategies
- Drive revenue through new client acquisition
- Develop strong social selling strategies and training for new and existing business development reps
- Encourage and motivate employees daily and bring innovation to the sales process to accelerate our market growth trajectory
Requirements
- 1+ years of sales management experience in a high-tech startup environment
- Consistent track record of consistently exceeding against quota and outlined metrics
- 1-2 years experience in sales or as an outbound BDR/SDR
- Experience working with Salesforce.com, Outreach (or equivalent), LinkedIn, Gong.io (or equivalent)
- An enthusiastic team player who’s comfortable working with all department leaders
- Knowledge of SaaS and/or subscription-based business sales models
- Experience leading a team of business development reps in consistently meeting goals
- Demonstrated track record of effectively hiring and motivating team members
- Ability to work in a dynamic, startup environment
