Your team:

Our Business Development team builds meaningful long-term relationships with brokerages, real estate agents, lenders, and home builders. As the manager of this team, you have the opportunity to increase existing business and strategically seek new opportunities. You’ll lead a tenacious team that thrives as a unit as they hit their monthly and quarterly goals. Our Business Development Managers shape and drive our business and are crucial to Ribbon’s continued growth and success.

How you'll help make homeownership achievable:

  • Develop, manage and grow a BDR field sales team in order for Ribbon to achieve hyper growth and meet or exceed MSA market share goals and business OKRs.
  • Ability to recruit the very best. Talent magnet.
  • Develop, maintain and manage a standardized process for approaching, qualifying, working with and onboarding brokers, agents, LO’s and lenders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to establish and execute a sales goal for the regional MSA’s.
  • Ability to partner with the BI team to drive funnel analytics that show gaps, areas of improvement and optimizations we can implement through the people, the process and the systems/products.
  • Develop leads and sales opportunities and create processes and follow through with a defined sales plan.
  • Provide support and guidance to direct reports by participating in and leading client and prospect meetings or engaging other team resources as required.
  • Develop a winning team, including recruiting, hiring and training.
  • Lead initiatives to drive customer awareness and engagement.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years in the Business Development Field.
  • Significant number of existing relationships in the RE industry and a deep understanding of industry dynamics (e.g. brokerages, lenders, builders, etc.).
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience
  • Highly competent in leveraging Salesforce
  • High levels of intellectual curiosity to dig into and solve key issues in the business
  • Experience in working at a fast-paced tech startup company
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
  • Ability to travel
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage an audience
