Reporting to VP Commercial, Americas, we are actively seeking an experienced leader to join our commercial team as the Head of the North American partnerships team to scale and expand on the success of an established partner program. Revenue driven, success in this position requires a seasoned leader with strong business acumen, communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple departments to execute programs, set goals and metrics, and track and report on achieved progress.
Responsibilities:
- Drive and execute the North American partnership strategy in collaboration with senior revenue team leaders
- Foster agency relationships at the executive level to grow revenue from major accounts
- Develop and manage a team of partner managers(3-5) with the primary goal of driving new business revenue through direct partner sales, partner referrals, value-added resellers and co-marketing
- Establish KPIs that will determine the ultimate success of the team and support Trustpilot’s commercial goals
- Work cross-functionally (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Operations) to support the overall growth and success of the partnership channel
- Assist the partner marketing team as needed in the development of partner sales collateral and enablement materials and support external comms to the partner network
- Join partner client sales and product demo calls when required
- Acting as a Trustpilot brand ambassador, join partner training events where needed, host town halls, and take on public speaking opportunities on virtual panels and events.
- Grow and manage a pipeline for the Partner team and for new business. Ownership of forecast for both revenue streams.
- Anticipate and help resolve channel conflict issues, troubleshoot and resolve daily challenges between various teams
- Meet assigned sales targets and strategic objectives
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in sales leadership and business development / channel sales
- Experience managing a high performing team
- Solid experience building revenue partnerships
- Post COVID, this role will require a significant amount of travel to visit partners, host events, and attend conferences.(Up to 25%)
- Strong network and industry knowledge within the ecommerce ecosystem and digital marketing space
