About the position:

At the start of 2016, Foursquare launched Attribution, a real-world conversion product that ties digital marketing to our industry-leading foot traffic data set. As a Manager of Publisher and Platform Sales you will build off of existing publisher relationships by going deep with partners at every level of the organization, understanding their business needs, and driving sales both for them (and revenue for us). 

This position will be based out of New York City.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in signing on new partners under commercial contract
  • Negotiate pricing for new and existing partners
  • Meet and exceed target channel partner revenue goals
  • Help onboard newly signed publisher and platform partners
  • Create scalable and repeatable sales processes with current partners in order to build and maintain channel sales pipeline
  • Take existing publishers and build them into more meaningful strategic and multi-layered relationships
  • Understand agency/client demand and current business running through partners to ensure holistic understanding of accounts
  • Train partner sales organizations (pre-sales, sales, and post-sales) in order to ensure that they’re comfortable representing Attribution to their clients and prospects
  • Co-sell with partners in order to assist in driving new business

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of combined sales & account management experience within media, advertising technology, or SaaS businesses
  • Excellent communication, presentation, prioritization, and organizational skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
  • Strategic thinker that can evangelize a newer product and right-fit for the type of partner being presented to
  • Existing relationships with DSPs, publishers and networks preferred
  • Experience with tactical advertising terminology and metrics, including tagging, ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, Ad Networks, Attribution, etc
  • Willingness to travel domestically 10-20% of the time
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote. Ideal candidates will have experience using frequently used Foursquare tools (Slack, Asana, Google Docs)
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
