Amplify is seeking a Manager, Sales Systems to help our hardworking Sales team reach even greater heights. Our team is responsible for all the systems and tools that the Sales team uses.
The ideal candidate approaches their work with close attention to detail and as a Manager will be responsible for improving and maintaining key tools that the Sales team uses to excel at their jobs -- Outreach, 6sense, Vidyard, LeanData, and more. The Manager will audit the tools, create plans for improvements, and implement those plans. They will seek out feedback from Sales Representatives to improve the tools and work with the Sales Enablement team to develop and deliver effective training. The person in this role will also bring the customer's point of view to our systems and processes. What do customers experience as they navigate the sales cycle? How can our tools make it easier for customers and Sales Representatives to close a deal?
The Manager will advise on the Salesforce instance as it pertains to the integrations with the other tools in the tech stack. They will also help identify and onboard new tools as necessary.
Responsibilities of the Manager, Sales Systems:

  • Partner with the Executive Director to design and manage the roadmap for the tech stack, including researching and sourcing new tools.
  • Find opportunities to get to best-in-class implementation by auditing Sales systems tools and developing plans for improved workflow.
  • Serve the in-house authority of our sales systems and maintain documentation for system maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce administration team to ensure accurate integration into our CRM.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Operations team on the customer journey to ensure hand-off of prospects from Marketing to Sales.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives and leaders to understand what issues they are facing with the tools and how we can improve.
  • Maintain user licenses and permission sets for each of our tools in addition to managing the renewals process (with the exception of Salesforce).
  • Assist with reporting needs within the platforms.
  • Assist Sales Representatives with troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Advocate and make improvements to the sales systems as business needs change.
  • Where appropriate, maintain the content libraries (e.g. in Outreach) and improve the organization/distribution of the content.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Enablement team to create materials, deliver training, and onboard new Sales Representatives.
  • Provide analysis of the return on investment and direct impact of the sales systems.


Basic Qualifications of the Manager, Sales Systems:

  • 3+ years experience using enterprise Sales tools such as 6sense, Outreach, LeanData, or similar systems.
  • 3+ years supporting the implementation and use of Salesforce, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading an audit of tool performance and using qualitative and quantitative data to drive decision-making and building consensus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of the K-12 education market

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • An orientation to service and ongoing learning
