We are looking for a Nonprofit Sales Lead to lead our rapid growth in the sector, acting as a Player-Coach for a new vertical-focused sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on an entrepreneurial sales and sales leadership role within a rapidly growing, mission-driven company.
This role reports to co-founder and President Allen Kramer. This role would ideally be based in NYC, but we are open to candidates based in Washington D.C., and remote may be considered for select candidates.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to hit sales goals.
- Build, train and manage a lean, vertical-focused sales team to successfully hit key goals.
- Continuously refine value proposition, competitive positioning, pricing, collateral, and target segments.
- Develop and manage channel sales and nonprofit ecosystem relationships.
- Work with our Product team to ensure that our platform meets the needs of the widest set of nonprofits.
- Collaborate with our Marketing, Product, BizOps, and Political & Advocacy sales teams to drive key sales results.
- Sit on the leadership team to help guide overall company strategy and resourcing decisions.
Who you are:
- 7+ years of experience in sales, sales management or business development
- Experience selling to the nonprofit sector
- Previous experience working in the nonprofit space would be a plus
- Passion for empowering mission-driven organizations with the best events management and volunteer recruitment platform
