What Are We Looking For?

You will the first Partner Solutions Engineer at Sisense The position will focus on supporting the integration and prototypes of Sisense’s platform capabilities into the products and systems of strategic partners and other technology solutions. Working in conjunction with the Partnerships and Alliances team, you will use your business acumen to support the partnering process through solution exploration, and your technical acumen to lead the technical design and prototype development of integrations with Sisense. You must be deeply technical with great partner facing skills, self-motivated and know how to successfully work as a trusted advisor to ensure the success of our partnerships. 

What You’ll Do?

• Learn and analyze a variety of partner offerings and solutions to understand integration use cases and the value proposition with the Sisense platform
• Rapidly develop POCs (proof of concepts) and analytical solutions for a diverse pool of partners
• Consult with prospective partners to understand and best deliver a joint solution based on their business, data and analytical disposition
• Work closely with the Product and R&D teams to offer technical consulting and provide guidance to close partner deals and for follow up integration work
• You will focus on our full stack which includes both the backend data model and the front facing dashboards and visualization
• Identify any product/functionality gaps required to deliver a solution and collaborate with product and R&D teams to define the necessary enhancements to support delivery
• Analyze and visualize large data sets, across multiple sources
• Develop and deliver training to partners and internal Sales teams

What Should You have?

• 3+ years of experience in developer relations, product management or sales engineering
• You've done a similar role before … and well!
• You've worked for a fast-growing BI and Analytics or company
• A technical mindset that can tackle complex SQL/database/architecture problems
• Eager to jump onto calls with prospective partners and customers to tackle business issues and design/test integrations
• Experience with deploying and integrating with enterprise software; this can be demonstrated by a track record of happy, referenceable partners, customers and deals won
• Experience with relational databases, data modeling, statistics, and modeling methodologies
• Experience with web development - at least one JavaScript visualization library (D3, Google Maps, MapBox, Leaflet)
• HTML, CSS, AJAX, REST Web services
• Experience with a dynamically typed language (Python, PHP, Ruby, Node.js)
• Familiar with one client-side framework (Angular.JS, Backbone) – nice to have
