A Better opportunity:

The Better Partnerships Team is responsible for sourcing and developing strategic partnerships for Better.com.  The Partnerships Director, Relationship Management will have responsibility for overseeing and driving activities relating to the management of one or more existing partnership relationships.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a marquee partner relationship at Better.com
  • Oversee and assume responsibility for all business touch points related to Partner
  • P&L responsibility of all related Partner activities
  • Develop and manage partner relations including guiding future implementation plans, negotiating of next phase term sheets and agreements, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and overseeing of internal and external reporting
  • Monitor and ensure partnership performance to meet Better objectives and Partner objectives, including SLA adherence and all other requirements
  • Assist with audit, compliance and issue identification, tracking, resolution and reporting
  • Act as Better.com’s day to day point of contact for a partner and oversee performance of our internal partner production teams

About You:

  • 8+ years of experience in a client facing/relationship management role, with experience acting as the main point of contact for a complex, multifaceted and large partner
  • Experience driving revenue optimization through effective partner/counterparty management in mortgages or other similarly complex financial instrument (e.g financial derivatives, leveraged finance, securities lending etc)
  • Experience leading complex, business critical projects internally- from initiation to delivery across functions- combining designing, developing, deploying and maintaining at large scale 
  • Comfort with managing contracts containing significant economics such as vendor, servicing acquisition, whole loan purchase, financing, securitization or others
  • Familiarity with marketing driven consumer partnerships
  • Passionate about pairing your experience with a fast growing consumer focused team
  • Capable of multitasking with rapidly changing priorities and managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage and maintain all facets of complex assignments
  • Proven problem solving ability with the aptitude to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications.
  • Able to navigate stakeholder opinions and build consensus
  • A friendly, thoughtful and collaborative approach to client relationships
