Partnerships Manager
As our first Partnerships Manager, your mandate is to build deep and impactful relationships with our larger enterprise clients. While the majority of our customers own 1-50 properties, we are growing our base of partners with portfolios in the many 1,000’s. These partners are often investment funds designed to acquire, renovate and manage (or sell) Single Family Rental homes. They are based all over the country, and at times internationally. They present the opportunity to accelerate our expansion by an order of magnitude.
In your role, you’ll be the primary POC to these partners. It’ll be your job to define success with each partner and ensure we deliver on (exceed!) their expectations always -- both in terms of how delightful they find working with us, and in terms of the operational performance of their portfolio (KPIs including things like time to lease, rent collected, net operating income, etc.).
You’ll drive the former by being an A+ relationship builder and owning a tight operating rhythm of reporting, check-ins and business reviews. You’ll drive the latter by working in close partnership with local teams, ensuring they’re always on track to achieve the operational KPIs you’ve helped define.
A data-driven, analytical approach to each relationship is a must; reporting is the cornerstone of success. You’ll partner with our Operations and Tech teams to ensure we’re capturing the right performance data in the most effective ways. You’ll work with each partner to make sure they have the appropriate levels of visibility into the metrics they care most about. And you’ll spend time synthesizing the data to glean business insights you can use to further the success of the partnership.
As you develop workflows and processes that make your relationships hum, you’ll also partner with our Product team to productize these flows, giving you the capacity to manage more partners as or more effectively and in less time. You’ll lay the foundation for what will be core to our crucial enterprise partnership program.
You’ll know you’re successful in this role if our enterprise partners can’t imagine their investment strategy without us (NPS, retention), continue to grow their portfolios with us (upsell), and brag about us to their friends (referrals).
This role is based in our New York City HQ.
