TITLE: Pre-Sales Engineer

 

HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday


LOCATION: New York, NY, with option to work remotely in any location nationally


DUTIES: Deliver data stewardship in order to help provide business users with high-quality data that is easily accessible and consistent. Provide data governance and data management. Responsible for scripting and programming including around APIs and workflows. Conduct technical sales presentations. Develop sales proposals. Provide technical sales support. Prepare and present product demonstrations. Identify, evaluate, and recommend proof of concept opportunities. Prepare and provide input for technical sections of RFPs/ RFQs. Communicate with Engineering on issues identified from field observations and customer feedback. Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers. Own the technical relationship with Collibra’s customers, including managing product demonstrations, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources. EOE



REQTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering Management or a related field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or as a Lead Consultant, Senior Corporate Marketing Specialist, or a related position. Must have five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with: business process modeling; data stewardship; data management; visualization tools including Tableau; SQL server; MySQL; Oracle; Teradata; BusinessObjects; developing queries; and mapping workflows. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in a stated field of study or foreign equivalent plus two (2) years of related experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Option to work remotely in any location nationally. 20% travel to various and unanticipated client sites nationally. All travel expenses to be paid by employer pursuant to internal policy.
