Role and Responsibilities
The procurement associate role will oversee a portfolio of renovations that need to be delivered at high performance, as well as help to improve consistency, quality, and speed of renovations. Renovations are a high stakes experience for homeowners, and a highly detailed process for design and construction professionals. The ideal candidate will leverage their outstanding communication skills and impeccable attention to detail to deliver a high quality renovation experience for clients.
Key day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Deliver outstanding service to our vendors and contractors when sourcing materials.
- Help solve issues in the field, while maintaining valuable relationships with contractors and vendors.
- Collaborate with design and construction to achieve the best portfolio of products to offer our clients.
- Effectively communicate with contractors to coordinate timelines, deliverables and troubleshoot during the build
- Think creatively about how to optimize the procurement process
- Help develop systems and tools to improve the procurement process
Qualifications
- Tenacity for solving problems / getting things done
- Highly organized and maniacal about detail
- Positive, helpful and supportive - willing to take on any task, no matter how big or small
- Strong communication and relationship development skills, both internally and externally
- Familiarity with residential renovations
- Highly ambitious and goal-oriented

- Able to build for long term, but also able to find efficient short-term solutions
