What We're Looking For:

The Director of Sales will develop and implement strategies for generating business to secure bookings. This role will oversee our properties’ sales efforts by building value-focused relationships with clients. This role requires the aptitude to meet booking goals and property revenue.

At Domio You Will:

  • Develop and implement strategies to manage properties’ reactive/proactive sales efforts
  • Devise strategies to improve sales performances 
  • Work proactively with a cross- functional team of operations, hospitality and revenue management leaders to develop sales plans and achieve goals
  • Manage relations with group clients by understanding their needs and having thorough product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and being receptive to feedback
  • Develop a sales strategy that attracts B2B client bookings
  • Establish best practices for shoulder season sales as well as creative daypart management in each city
  • Value selling while creating a sales life cycle process to keep pipeline robust
  • Work with OTA and various sales channels to enhance bookings
  • Establish process around CRM that best suits the business and help implement

Who You Are:

  •  5-7+ years of experience in Hospitality/Travel Sales Management
  • Strong people leader- direct reports of between 5-7 in previous role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or relevant
  • Willingness to travel to core markets and develop relationships along with training local team players
  • Be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Comfortable with tech and data
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills put to use in a very fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have the aptitude and desire to learn new competencies and skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and timelines
