What We Need

We’re looking for a Vice President of Sales to lead and develop a team of professional sellers while driving the execution of our sales strategy. The ideal candidate has a track record building and scaling teams and strategies that deliver results against aggressive business targets. You bring an expertise in selling to brands and agency leadership, have built organizational structure and processes, developed meaningful value propositions, and hold your business to the highest performance and accountability standards

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team that is educating brand advertisers and their agencies on the value of Yieldmo’s solutions
  • Become an expert on Yieldmo's platform and service offerings with a deep understanding of its functionality, features and impact for clients
  • Develop comprehensive managed service and automated programs for new and existing client base, closely monitoring performance to deliver positive outcomes
  • Close collaboration with other teams, such as Business Development, Publisher Operations, Marketing, and Product
  • Mentor, develop, and support your team in taking emerging products and our strong suite of offerings to market.e
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of cross-vertical sales opportunities with a focus on strategic accounts
  • Leverage your deep relationships at brands and agency leadership to drive Yieldmo’s strong position in the marketplace and create new business opportunities 
  • Manage relevant client relationships and recommend program solutions to facilitate increased cross selling
  • Pulse on the changing industry, and feed that knowledge to internal stakeholders to bolster opportunities that will grow the business through product innovation and identified customer needs
  • Use data to determine how to maintain client satisfaction and deliver results
  • Evangelize Yieldmo in the marketplace

Requirements

  • Proven leader with a passion for creating winning sales teams as evidenced by quota achievement and territory growth
  • Successful track record hiring and leading teams selling in the digital advertising space, specifically with a focus on programmatic high impact, digital video, CTV/OTT, data-backed solutions
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to build relationships and rapport within and across teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 8+ years sales experience, preferably selling data or analytics to brand advertisers pitching to AVP-level and above
  • Extensive experience selling into global strategic accounts with a track record of negotiation and closing
  • Expertise in prospecting, cross-selling and developing relationships with C-level executives
  • Strong solution selling skills with the ability to demonstrate strong product knowledge
  • Ability to establish clear value propositions
  • Highly analytical mindset

Processing and analyzing billions of data points each month requires us to have our finger on the pulse of multiple teams within Yieldmo. We collaborate in real-time via Slack and our office setup makes it easy to swing by someone's desk. We also have recurring cross-functional stands ups as well bi-weekly All Hands company meetings.

Success on my team belongs to the curious self-starter. The landscape is constantly changing and creative problem solving is a key skill when you rarely encounter the same issue twice. I keep an open office hour that anyone in the company can attend, once a month. This is my time made available to the whole company, and is optional, with no agenda.
