Renewals Specialist 

As a member of our growing Customer Experience team, the Senior Renewals Specialist will work collaboratively with the Customer Success Managers (“CSMs”) and will primarily be responsible for being involved in the renewals process of ChartHop’s customer accounts.

The Renewals Specialist and CSMs will stay in close communication on overlapping customer accounts to maintain awareness of quarterly renewals progress, overall customer account satisfaction, and potential risks and opportunities.

Reporting to the VP of Customer Experience, this role is a primary point of contact for ChartHop’s customer renewals and, as such, is expected to be able to build and maintain relationships at multiple points within a customer organization as it pertains to renewals.

  • KPIs
  • Net Revenue Retention
  • Gross Revenue Retention
  • Customer NPS
  • Customer Hoppiness

As a Renewals Specialist , you will:


  • Collaboration with the CSM to manage to a quarterly financial target compromised of renewals revenue and Gross Profit
  • Validate and finalize renewal quotes with a customer
  • Generate a customer-facing quote that will be delivered to the customer and obtain executed order from the customer, if required. 
  • Participate in customer calls/meetings as a representative of the renewals process as needed in the renewals quoting process
  • Meet regularly with the CSM to review renewal status for assigned accounts to share updates including information related to expansion, extension, and upsell opportunities
  • Effectively engage with customers at multiple levels (e.g., day-to-day contacts, purchasing, and procurement) to build and maintain relationships
  • Understand key products, and product features that ChartHop offers
  • Maintain awareness of ChartHop’s renewal metrics, and the impact of individual renewals on ChartHop’s ability to attain those metrics


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in SaaS renewals management/ sales
  • Experience partnering with other Sales Managers/CS Leaders to achieve common goals
  • Approaches work with empathy and a creative, problem-solving mindset
  • Demonstrable success in thinking strategically, executing tactically while providing consistent and high levels of customer satisfaction and retention in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to handle various tasks; attention to detail
  • Must be able to work well with others as part of a broader team cross-functionally
  • Capable of understanding technology from a functionality perspective to understand how technology maps to meeting business requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to present effectively to internal and external audiences


Preferred Skill Set:

  • Ideally will have prior experience working with data analytics platforms
  • Ideally will have previously worked against quota type targets and be comfortable managing towards a target
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Salesforce

Salary range - $80K- $100K base plus bonus and equity
