How Does This Position Help VTS Succeed?
The Renewals team is potentially the most successful team at hitting company set objectives and key responsibilities across VTS. This role will give candidates the ability to step into a well oiled machine while growing vital skill sets to career growth like relationship management, account planning, cross department project management and risk reporting, to name a few.
On top of the success this team has had from renewing significantly more clients on time for more money and longer terms, the role itself provides a great marriage of client facing interaction, operational work and strategic planning for both individual accounts and organizational wide churn management.
As with the sales team, the role will have several internal stakeholders to get support from so while much of the role can be done independently, the most successful people on our team are those that work well with complimentary roles like sales, sales operations, finance, support and the client advisory team.
What Makes This Job Awesome?
- Communicate with ADM team on upcoming renewals to ensure ownership of process
- Determining the renewal strategy and owning majority of the process (includes discussing renewal options with the client main point of contact)
- SFDC maintenance - auto alerts, status updates, next steps
- Generate/complete quotes and renewal opportunities once pricing is determined
- Collaborate with Legal and Billing team to ensure compliance on invoicing (bill to contacts, asset list, additional notes)
- Structure processes for sold asset recovery (ensure new buyer is identified and asset remains on VTS)
- Report on churn themes and forecasting based on anecdotal exposure to client situations (improve proactive approach to mitigating churn)
- Enhance renewal/at risk/EBR Troops/email alert system for all reps and train on new process
- Help strategize and execute on Renewal Pricing Structure for multi-year contracts
What Makes You A Great Fit?
- 1+ year of experience in renewals management, account management or sales/sales development
- proven track record of success in a revenue-generating role is a plus
- You love talking to new people, collaborating with teammates, and are a confident communicator
- You thrive working to targets and have a consistent track record of overachieving
- You are a problem solver; you like to use your knowledge to help people overcome challenges
- You are experienced in working in a fast-paced environment where you’re constantly looking to learn new skills
- You’re genuinely passionate about consistently growing your abilities and are self-aware on where you need to improve most
- You’re resourceful and quickly take ownership of determining how to get answers to questions that you don’t know
