Obsess is an experiential e-commerce platform. We enable brands and retailers in the fashion, home and lifestyle space to create highly engaging, branded and interactive e-commerce experiences on their websites. Our customers include Farfetch, Vera Bradley, Anheuser-Busch, New York Fashion Week, Rebecca Minkoff, Carmen Sol, and more launching soon. We were chosen by Walmart as the winner of a competition looking for the most promising VR companies. Our founder has an engineering and product background from MIT, Google and Vogue, and our team has extensive experience in 3D development and design. ROLE 
We are looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial account executive to be our first sales and business development lead. You will be responsible for the full sales life cycle of selling our B2B2C SaaS software to brands and retailers. This is an opportunity to bring a compelling and innovative experience already in use at top brands to more retailers, and to work with leading fashion brands reimagining the future of retail. You should be highly motivated by emerging tech and highly interested in the e-commerce, branding and retail space. You are someone who wants to work really hard to have a big impact on growing a business and disrupting an industry. You are someone who is really good at persuading people to come with you where you lead them.

RESPONSIBILITIES 
* Prospecting, qualifying and creating sales opportunities 
* Reaching out to prospects via email, LinkedIn, calling on a daily basis 
* Developing sales pitch and materials, and iterating on them by testing 
* Meeting and selling to C- and VP-level executives at brands and retailers 
* Negotiating and closing deals 
* Tracking and managing sales pipeline 
* Identifying strategic partnerships to grow revenue 
* Developing creative, unique ideas for target marketing of new business 
* Representing company at trade shows and events

QUALIFICATIONS 
* 3+ years experience in B2B sales or Business Development roles, ideally selling to fashion and lifestyle brands OR 3 years experience in managing e-commerce or digital marketing for a sizeable brand and desire to transition to outbound role 
* Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field 
* Demonstrated experience developing new business relationships 
* Superb communication skills (interpersonal, telephone, and email) 
* Naturally persuasive and influential 
* Ability to craft effective messaging - copy and visual 
* Extremely organized and detail-oriented 
* Hard working, flexible and creative 
* High energy and extremely hungry to make an impact
