Sales Development Representative
Bubble is the leading no-code builder for web and mobile apps. Our platform lets any computer-literate person build a tech business without prior programming knowledge. One Bubble user with a few days of training is equivalent to a team of software engineers with years of experience. We’ve already enabled thousands of businesses around the world to build software. Many of these businesses have gone on to great success, including raising hundreds of millions in capital or joining Y Combinator. With more people turning to entrepreneurship and digital products as COVID impacts the economy, Bubble’s solution is increasingly critical.
We are generating new demand for our developer community and we’re looking for a sales representative that is excited to lead web development agencies across various freelance marketplaces. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Growth team to track performance, experiment with new channels, and set goals.
In this role you’ll need to work with multiple stakeholders, source projects outside of Bubble’s ecosystem, and help clients structure their ideas into a list of prioritized product features. You’ll be measured by your ability to draft a proposal and break it down by cost and time. This is an opportunity to own a sales process and collaborate with virtual assistants, clients, and developers.
We’re looking for someone who
- 1+ years of sales/business development experience, web development agency experience preferred, web developer freelance experience is a plus
- Moderately technically inclined; does not need developer experience but needs to have an understanding of product development and an intuition for what makes a good product
- Able to communicate strategic high-level concepts down to the implementation level
- Results-driven mindset, can work with minimal supervision and motivated to set high-achieving goals
- Process-oriented with a sense of urgency

In terms of the process, we will first review your resume / application. If we think there might be a good fit, we will then ask you to complete a take-home exercise which tests your ability to draft a sales proposal based on client call notes.
