What this role is about: 

RapidSOS is looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to scale and build out RapidSOS’s B2B sales pipeline. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will assist in executing outbound campaigns to our target accounts and handle inbound lead qualification. Through your work, you will take a prospective client through the early stages of the sales pipeline, acting as a partner to our sales team in nurturing and building customer relationships. You’ll excel in this role if you prioritize high levels of engagement and relationship building, enjoy prospecting, and have a strong interest in learning about a variety of industries that could benefit from the RapidSOS product offerings.

What you’ll do: 

  • Create a healthy sales pipeline of qualified leads that would benefit from integrating RapidSOS into their products

  • Develop and build targeted, personalized outbound campaigns

  • Research target companies before every outreach, creating a personalized experience at every touchpoint

  • Set qualified meetings and achieve opportunity goals with sales executives and sales operations professionals by converting inbound leads and generating leads from targeted account prospecting

  • Partner with sales organization and marketing to target the right accounts to drive pipeline and revenue goals

  • Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, LinkedIn and other social platforms

  • Successfully manage early stage discovery and overcome objections

  • Work closely with Marketing to run data-driven campaigns

  • Document prospect interaction in CRM to ensure efficient lead management

  • Provide direct communication with account executives to effectively manage pipeline opportunities

What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate: 

  • 1+ years experience as an SDR or in a similar role, preferably within a SaaS B2B startup

  • Proven ability to move leads through the pipeline and nurture quality prospects

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with an innate attention to detail, especially when needing to convey our message in a succinct ‘elevator pitch’

  • Ability to articulate RapidSOS products and services to a wide variety of audiences and industry professionals

  • Results oriented and driven, with a strong understanding of the high visibility and impact of this role.

  • Proactive attitude, with the ability to adjust your approach and techniques to master innovative ways to grow the RapidSOS sales pipeline.

  • Experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment and can balance setting strategic priorities with high-quality, tactical execution

  • Ability to ask questions, gather information and formulate an action plan to connect business needs to solutions

  • Superb organizational, planning, and prioritization skills are required.

  • Experience with using both social and digital marketing tactics to generate leads

  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce or Hubspot) and MarTech tools (Marketo, Salesloft, Outreach, Drift, 6Sense, Demandbase, etc.) is a plus

It's our top priority to offer all of our team members fair and equitable compensation that has been thoroughly researched and benchmarked against market data. The budgeted range for this position starts at $60,000 - $80,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience. This does not include equity, bonus or commission.
