TEI is looking for a rock star Sales Development Representative (SDR) Team Lead that is passionate, loves to hustle, is very self-driven, and wants to help us completely own this industry. As the Sales Development Team Lead at TEI, you will primarily be responsible for driving our outbound sales strategy both personally and as a team. You’ll be joining a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and be heavily involved in interviewing, onboarding, and training numerous hires for the SDR team. This is a tremendous growth opportunity to work closely with senior leadership as we look to scale the team. ABOUT THE POSITION
At TEI, the Sales Development Team Lead will have:
- Complete ownership of the SDR team
- A close working relationship with the senior leaders of the sales and marketing team
- A massive role in disrupting the expert witness services industry
Cores Responsibilities:
- Drive yourself and the SDR team against all performance and activity objectives
- Drive law firm interest via direct outreach: cold calls, email marketing, social channels, creative follow up, and whatever else it takes to win new meetings
- Monitor lead processes, metrics, and catalyze pipeline creation for BDRs
- Personally book intro calls/meetings for the BDRs off various lead lists
- Help develop the skills necessary to transition live transactional deals from a cold call to a BDR for immediate closing of the deal
- Keep abreast of SDR best practices and deliver coaching/development when appropriate
- Be a great steward of the company and sales processes to ensure consistent success and sales efficiency
- Conduct weekly 1X1 with each SDR rep for coaching and activity metrics review
- Leverage our sales enablement tools for call reviews and coaching opportunities
- Consistently inspire, incent, and recognize team members to encourage top performers
- Lead by example in outbound activity and follow through on our sales processes
- Be a partner to the BD, marketing, account management and research teams to ensure a seamless sales and customer experience
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- B.A./B.S. degree
- 1+ years as an outbound SDR, BDR or Inside Sales Rep
- SDR team lead or SDR management experience is a plus
- Track record of success managing a high performing inside sales team and ability to achieve and exceed activity quotas and goals
- Strong understanding of outbound pipeline generation processes
- Prior experience cold calling and marketing into the law industry (not required)
- Strong at cold calling and love the challenge of engaging people to learn more
- Hunter and passion for outbound prospecting activity
- Leadership mentality (lead by example) to drive the SDR team day in, day out
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Analytical mindset comfortable reviewing dashboards, reports and process discipline
- Ability/willingness to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial, transactional environment
- Exceptional communication skills; professionally persistent; and able to overcome objections
- Working knowledge of all office-based applications and CRM (Salesforce preferred)
