Sales Manager at Bizzabo

We’re looking for a sales leader who’s passionate about coaching and growing talent, and is excited to help us scale as we continue to move up-market. The ideal candidate must have run complex sales cycles and mastered consultative processes in addition to having led teams with marked success.

 

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead a team of Account Executives
    • Recruit, hire, coach and manage a team (at most 8 Account Executives) responsible for closing new business consistently above quota
  • Join virtual and in person meetings to help build key relationships with prospects and stakeholders to grow new business opportunities
  • Assist in prospecting strategies (e.g. email editing, cold call shadowing and LinkedIn referrals)
  • Continuously improve the Mid Market/Enterprise sales playbook
  • Implement regular training and coaching to develop and retain high performers
  • Collect product feedback to communicate to our VP of Sales and product team
  • Provide your direct report an accurate and predictable forecast weekly
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s with your direct reports
  • Work with your team to create and deliver on quarterly PG and business plans
  • Help to create sales collateral with feedback from your team

Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales management experience in a SaaS selling environment
  • Minimum 2 years of selling SaaS to Mid-Market or Enterprise companies
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree, industry-relevant discipline preferred
  • Team track record of success in closing new business and exceeding sales’ targets
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Comfortable in a fast paced technology environment with a constant sense of urgency
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or G Suite
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Exceptional references

Bizza-Bonus:

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, including forecast, reporting and dashboard proficiency
  • Experience in a related MarTech or events company/field
  • Strong track record of talent retention
  • MEDIC/MEDDIC/MEDDPIC certification
