Sales Operations Lead (Media Incentives & Inventory Management)

We’re looking for a Sales Operations Lead to join Team Snapchat! As part of our Revenue Programs team, you will focus on designing, operationalizing and analyzing advertiser incentive programs for North America as well as executing and improving processes related to inventory and yield management. Working from our New York, NY office, you will partner closely with Sales, Product, Marketing and Finance teams.
What you’ll do:
Evaluate complex business rules and pricing exceptions, providing thoughtful cost-benefit analysis under both short- and long-term horizons
Consult with front-line sales reps, managers and sales leaders to launch and refine high-impact revenue programs and advertiser incentives
Maintain responsiveness and quality of service, while also identifying opportunities to improve our efficiency.
Lead periodic reviews to analyze ROI of incentive programs and develop dashboards to regularly evaluate impact
Partner closely with internal and external auditors to ensure core processes remain in compliance with critical financial and operational controls
Be knowledgeable in market trends and the competitive landscape in order to shape compelling proposals
Cultivate strong working relationships with cross-functional partners—like Product, Customer Support, Finance, Legal and Public Policy—to evaluate requests or key business issues
Define and operationalize policies for reserving ad inventory in existing systems, in close partnership with Product
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Best-in-class partnership skills with Sales and cross-functional teams, including an ability to work collaboratively, find solutions and challenge stakeholders respectfully
Proven ability to manage discussions across multiple stakeholders with different points of view and influence executives or team members to adopt recommendations or shift behaviors
Professional operations experience within an environment that has queues, high case volumes and a high degree of internal relationship management
Experience managing workflows to specific SLAs and leveraging related KPIs (like time to first touch, time to resolution, etc)
Command of digital advertising and yield management, ideally in an auction environment
Mindset to approach problems analytically, with structure and strong project management
Ability to drive results with ownership and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to strengthening Sales processes with knowledge, creativity and empathy
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and customization to support sales workflows
Minimum qualifications:
5+ years working in Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Yield Management, Sales, Management Consulting or other similar functions
2+ years experience within digital advertising, media or a related industry
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in the technology, media and advertising space, specifically across digital/ mobile as well as different geographic markets
Experience designing new operational workflows as well as maintaining/optimizing existing workflows
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, mathematics, engineering, finance or related field
Certification or practical experience with Salesforce CRM
Fluency with operational data, including TAT, CAC, LTV and ROI
Proficiency with advanced sheets/excel
