We’re looking for a Sales Operations Lead to join the Sales Operations Strategy team at Snap! The mission of the Sales Operations Strategy team is to maximize business growth and performance by being an objective, trusted partner to the Sales Leadership through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence.
This role will be aligned to the SMB team, which focuses on driving revenue growth for small to medium businesses. You’ll collaborate with SMB Leadership and other cross functional partners (i.e. Product, Engineering Marketing, Finance, etc.) to systematically acquire, grow, and retain SMB advertisers to amplify revenue. You will use your strategic thinking and analytical skills to provide data-driven insights and recommendations and to execute strategic initiatives.
What you'll do:
Identify business health metrics, diagnose trends, and implement action plans.
Work closely with SMB leadership to provide insights, evaluate strategic opportunities, recommend tactical short-term and long-term goals, pinpoint revenue blockers, and enhance productivity.
Utilize external market intelligence and internal data to identify areas of market opportunity and gaps to prioritize customer segments accordingly.
Analyze sales, support, and marketing treatments for segments of SMB advertisers and recommend updates accordingly.
Own the SMB dataset, understand nuances, identify and execute improvements, and create visualizations to guide business decisions.
Analyze lead funnel data (i.e lead sources, sales touchpoints, conversion rates), influence tactical updates to how leads are prioritized (i.e. lead scoring and routing), and provide recommendations for growth.
Establish and embed critical metrics to guide the team’s behaviors and evaluate progress.
Support SMB leadership and cross functional partners by driving critical projects and strategic initiatives to support revenue growth.
Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company and represent SMB or Sales Operations in complex cross-functional / leadership discussions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Best-in-class partnership with Sales, Support, Marketing and other cross-functional teams, including an ability to navigate complex discussions, challenge stakeholders respectfully, and manage disagreement effectively.
Experience approaching problems using a structured, analytical mindset to provide practical business insights from data.
Problem solving and analysis experience with solving business problems, including spreadsheet analytical skills
Demonstrated experience learning quickly and being intellectually curious.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills suited for audiences ranging from customers to sales teams to Snap’s business leadership.
Ability to make judgment calls in an ambiguous environment.
Experience in working independently, managing multiple concurrent projects and driving strategic and operational initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
Ability to evolve in a highly-dynamic environment - prioritizing initiatives, defining milestones or KPIs and driving results with ownership and adaptability.
Communication and Interpersonal skills with experience developing and presenting business and technical content to peers and other audiences.
Experience partnering with a Sales Organization and Sales Leadership. Commitment to supporting creativity and empathy.
Ability to persuade others (cross-functional partners, sales, leadership) on a course of action, using data to support the narrative, but also recognizing scenarios where a “gut call” is needed
Minimum qualifications:
5+ years proven experience which involved analytical rigor and program management/operational skills typically seen in, but not restricted to functions like Management Consulting, Sales/Business Operations, Finance or other similar functions.
BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience
Preferred qualifications:
Strong proficiency with Google Docs (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) products with demonstrated experience in building models to solve business problems end-to-end.
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and data visualization platforms (e.g. Einstein Analytics, Tableau, Looker).
