Overview:
OwnBackup is seeking a Manager of Sales & Business Operations to support all business and sales related functions for the Global Sales and Support teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to CRM management (Salesforce), reporting, project management, and internal process development. The Manager of Sales & Business Operations will work in conjunction with the all commercial departments to track, maintain, and help grow revenue and pursue the company’s mission as it scales. Domain expertise in software, enterprise infrastructure and SaaS are valuable but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee tracking of sales pipeline and related ongoing projects
- Oversee all daily operational reporting, escalating as needed to address areas of concern
- Prepare materials and reports for consumption by senior management and board
- Use data to proactively highlight potential operational issues, investigate trends, and recommend workflow solutions
- Own all recurring reporting from compilation and QA to development of high-level insights and recommendations for process improvement
- Develop and maintains comprehensive knowledge of each contract as well as any associated or related contracts
- Implement SOPs to support better management, business processes, and organizational design for the global sales team
- Develop and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure exceptional workflow adherence
- Regularly communicate key activities with, and solicit guidance from leadership and lead discussions on account strategy and prioritization
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years experience in maintaining Salesforce for a sales/business development team required
- 4+ years client services or operations experience
- SaaS experience a plus
- Experience with billing/revenue cycle management technology, process improvement or workflow implementations a plus
- Data savvy with excellent skills in Excel
- Strong ability to use data to understand workflows and assess operational effectiveness
