You’ll be responsible for identifying key needs and opportunities that ultimately lead to qualified opportunities for our Sales team, who will convert prospects into long-term customers.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

In addition to contributing to an incredible mission, you will get to collaborate within the Sales organization to build strategy and process that enhances sales performance. You will be part of a team that has incredible support through sales training and enablement, as well as through marketing and operations. Your feedback from the market will also help drive future sales campaigns and may even lead to eventual product enhancements. Your research will have a direct impact on how we interact with prospective clients and continuously identify opportunities where Newsela can support educational goals and initiatives across the country.

Why We’ll Love You:

With an Internship or 6+ months of sales and/or lead generation experience, you are an excellent communicator who can truly empathize with the challenges our different buyers face. You have an incredible ability to think creatively and establish clear value propositions that connect buyer/user needs to the product and services we offer. You leverage your Salesforce.com experience and sales process training to target and engage prospects through phone and email conversations. Your strong organizational skills allow you to juggle multiple projects and quickly switch between tasks. Ideally bringing some experience in EdTech or SaaS environments, and are familiar with sales platforms such as Salesloft, Outreach.io, or Yesware. As a passionate, growth-oriented individual, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and use your creativity when partnering with team members to ensure flawless execution.
