Come play a role in the growth of the media sales team within MLB. We are looking for an energetic, experienced Sales Service Executive in New York City.
Job duties will include:
- Supporting a Media Sales Team consisting of TV & Digital Account Executives, with a focus on Digital business
- Build TV & Digital Plans
- Maintain and cultivate Agency relationships
- Help prospect from existing Agency List
- Work closely with internal Marketing Teams to both respond to RFPs and to proactively target ideas
- Assist AEs in reporting on executed Added Value components of Media Buys
- Will have the opportunity to present
- Some evening hospitality expectations – games, dinners, etc.
- Occasional travel
- Actively mentoring support staff and overseeing the stewardship of proposals, deals and post-deal analysis
- Proactively prospect and research accounts to drive new business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum 2 - 4 years of media sales experience with proven sales track record.
- Must have working knowledge of the TV and Digital ad marketplace
- Sports Sales Experience a plus
- Working knowledge of how to read/build TV Media plans a plus
