Who you are: 

You're an analyst with Sales Operations or Business Planning experience driving strategic analytics and insights for go-to-market and sales leadership teams. You know your way around large complex data sets and know how to work cross-functionally to discover insights and turn them into actionable business recommendations.

You're highly analytical and are always looking for ways to improve processes and increase productivity. You love solving hard problems and can independently structure and draw insights from ambiguous challenges. You're a thought partner that values building strong relationships across an organization. You have the ability to think globally and strategically, and then roll up your sleeves to execute. 

As our Sales Strategy Analyst, you’ll develop and use data analytics to inform and impact our go-to-market strategy globally. In this highly analytical role, you'll help build the core sales infrastructure and analytics foundation including quota setting, measuring performance, territory carving, CRM maintenance, strategic planning and much more!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee development, balancing and maintenance of assigned sales territories
  • Develop deep understanding of assigned sales team(s) and is viewed by Sales leadership as the subject matter expert on territory strategy execution
  • Perform reporting and analysis on current territory and whitespace data, recommending territory designs to sales management in order to capitalize on future growth
  • Partner with internal stakeholders within the organization to improve data integrity with CRM
  • Develop innovative methodologies related to quota and territory coverage to answer strategic questions across the organization and empower others to apply your recommendations and solutions
  • Maximize sales productivity by facilitating the strategic annual planning process with the development of the GTM organizational structure and associated sales hierarchy
  • Deployment of sales targets, quota setting and in-year management
  • Track quota over-assign vs plan through the FY highlighting areas of risk/concern to achieve plan
  • Align with Operations Business Partners to ensure appropriate coverage/quota priorities are delivered
  • Support Sales Leadership in strategic operational planning and ensure decisions align with overall company sales approach and goals

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations or Business Planning, with 3+ years focused on territory development and quota setting
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends, issues and future growth potential
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally with internal sales, marketing and finance teams
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to turn large sets of data into actionable insights
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple, simultaneous solutions executed cross-functionally 
  • Self-starter mentality and entrepreneurial spirit with a strong drive for excellence and delivery of results
  • Strong expertise with Excel
  • Knowledgeable of relational databases, and BI tools such as Looker
  • Experience with CRM platforms, Salesforce preferred (Clari a plus)
