Voted Crain's Best Place to Work 2015, 2016, 2017 and now 2018, we’re looking for our first Sales Enablement Manager to enable the sales organization to elevate and maintain our high standard of sales excellence as we scale. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will partner with sales leadership, sales operations, data, and product marketing to create and deliver a dynamic curriculum that includes market information, onboarding training, deck and demo certifications, basic and advanced sales techniques, and reinforcing content for new product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a sales onboarding program that includes certifications and milestones throughout the new hire ramp period
  • Consult with Sales Leadership and stakeholders to identify and prioritize enablement requirements
  • Develop, design, and champion sales training programs, as necessary to address business needs, for both direct and partner/channel sales.
  • Act as the primary facilitator for all sales team training with a focus on refreshing content based on product value, new product features, competitive positioning, and internal processes.
  • Partner with sales leadership to conduct periodic assessments, including feedback/observations of sales performance, simulated role-plays, and messaging adoption
  • Design tests to assess the quality of outcomes and effectiveness of training, i.e. a certification program for direct sales and channel partners.
  • Assist in building the foundation for BetterCloud’s Sales Academy and corresponding materials
  • Assist with the organization of sales kickoffs and build content in partnership with product marketing and other teams, as needed.
  • Assess the sales enablement/coaching software space and make recommendations on technologies and tools

Preferred Background

  • 5 years of experience, with 3 years in a sales training and enablement role for a SaaS organization
  • Understand the sales pipeline and can teach sellers at all levels to meet and exceed their goals
  • Excellence in communication skills: written, verbal, and presentation
  • Experience training in a fast-paced software company and high-velocity sales team
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, and motivation
  • Ability to inspire, lead, and motivate people
  • Familiarity with a variety of training concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Facilitation skills, with demonstrated self-confidence and an ability to adapt content to address needs
