Role Description:
Teachers Pay Teachers is looking for a passionate, structured, and analytical Salesforce Business Analyst or data savvy Salesforce Administrator to join our team and help grow our subscription product for schools. This person will play a critical role in supporting the revenue organization by providing insight, process structure, and strategic thinking to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency. This role will work closely with leadership from Sales and Marketing to drive efficiency across a variety of initiatives.
You'll be driving significant growth for TpT in a key company initiative, getting teachers paid for their expertise, AND giving more educators the resources they need to teach at their best.
Responsibilities:
- Develop working technology solutions for reference and starting points for the sales organization
- Support sales and delivery teams on sales opportunities by providing solutions, project estimates/costs, proposals and agreements
- Analyze cross-functional business processes, identify alternative solutions and recommend new approaches via technology enablement; work closely with development partners to identify potential or alternative solutions
- Assist in data import/export/updates, system customization
- Serve as primary system administrator for all internal tools and systems including Salesforce, Pardot, Gong, Calendly, Outreach, and ZenDesk
- Partner with the Revenue team leadership team to establish process and strategy improvements using our existing technologies
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests within existing technologies and new platforms
- Assist in training of new users, and grow usage of the tech stack across the organization
- Handle all core functions including maintaining user accounts, creating reports and dashboards, setting up workflows and other routine tasks
- Work independently with internal users to define and document new requirements and process improvements
- Manage all internal integrations, including setup and maintenance
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce administrator within a SaaS business.
- Salesforce Admin certified
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality within high volume SaaS companies
- A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
- A demonstrated ability to understand and explain complex requirements
Extra Credit:
- 1-2 years in EdTech or Salesforce consulting
- Salesforce advanced certification
- Pardot Specialist certification
- Familiarity with SQL / Python
