The RoleThe SDR Director will own and build the Sales Development Representative function to qualify inbound leads and drive qualified meetings through outbound activities, account based marketing support and multi-threading activities for the purpose of developing a pipeline for new sales. This role will take a major hand in accelerating the team's growth and results through the development of strategic initiatives while shaping the SDRs’ careers into the next phase of sales success.Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Sales Development representatives in US and international markets
- Consistently deliver against targets - ensuring company and team goals and objectives are achieved consistently and sustainably
- Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for assigned region
- Provide leadership and oversight to ensure the team demonstrates an understanding of the company’s core values and executes against them
- Be responsible for the hiring, training, coaching, and development of the SDR team to help them master the skills across sales development including: cold-calling, execution of go-to-market strategy, understanding different customer profiles and personas and facilitating the development of prospecting lists and target accounts
- Adopt and optimize the operations of the SDR organization (able to recommend areas for improvement in process and productivity)
- Create incentive structures and goals structures in an ever-changing sales environmen
Requirements
- 5+ years in a large global sales team with a proven track record of exceeding targets
- 3+ years experience in sales or sales development leadership activities
- 3+ years in managing prospecting and outbound sales activities
- Natural leader, collaborator and team player - you have the passion and ability to lead a team of people and be able to inspire your direct team and others around you
- Experience using CRM tools such as Hubspot or Salesforce
- Experience with sales enablement tools like Outreach or SalesLoft
- Highly self-motivated, accountable, proactive and thoughtful with high attention to detail
- Ready to tackle any challenge and be solutions oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
