Amplify is seeking an Account Executive - Nebraska to contribute to a fast growing team. As a specialist on Amplify's solutions achieve revenue targets by finding opportunities to serve schools and districts. The Account Executive is skilled at consultative sales, highly motivated, and prepared to dedicate the time it takes to build the business. The ideal candidate has a consistent record of success selling print and technology delivered instructional products and services, possesses knowledge of the K-12 sector, excels in a fast paced company, has high energy, and is driven to achieve sales goals.
*Sales Territory in Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota
Responsibilities of the Account Executive:

  • Develop and maintain expertise in Amplify's products
  • Deliver high quality, consultative discussions to identify customer needs and align Amplify's products and services to address those needs
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the educational marketplace, industry trends, funding developments, and Amplify products
  • Build and nurture relationships with Curriculum Directors, Principals, Department Heads, and other relevant key partners
  • Research district trends, competition and funding sources to strategically drive new sales
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, forecasts, and territory activities as required
  • Develop and maintain a full business pipeline of prospective clients
  • Collaborate with Regional VPs to implement effective campaigns within assigned region


Basic Qualifications of the Account Executive:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years successful direct sales experience in the education market
  • Strong verbal, written and comprehension skills


Preferred Qualifications of the Account Executive:

  • Success using state/federal funds for the purchase of technology based instructional goods and professional services
  • Proven knowledge of core curriculum market in Math, ELA and Science, and of District adoption timelines and process for both basal and supplemental print and technology based materials
  • Experience selling to schools and districts within the assigned region
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Strong presentation skills
