ABOUT THE TEAM AND ROLE

The role will support our sales team by working with a growing team of Account Executives and Brand Strategists to establish and grow revenue-generating accounts in all pre-sale related activities. This role will report to the Senior Director, Client Services & Planning.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Build strategic media plans in partnership with Account Executives and Brand Strategists in a timely and detail-oriented manner
  • Assist Account Executives in shepherding deals from pre-sale to close, including but not limiting to; managing client correspondence, media plan revisions, specs, production timelines, benchmarks, and required assets
  • Update and maintain inventory management systems, including but not limited to; proposal entries, revisions, status updates, and calendar reservations for media placements across all Skimm products
  • Lead conversations with clients and internal ops teams to process Insertion Orders for sold programs
  • Transition sold campaigns to the Client Services team, ensure successful campaign launch
  • Thoroughly understand and contribute to the development of new ad product offerings and tentpole sponsorships, specs, and operational capabilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities and growth across a team of three Account Managers in NY and LA

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in digital account management or media planning in a client-facing role
  • Minimum 1-2 years as a functional manager is a plus
  • Familiar with order management systems like boostr or Operative.One
  • Experience at a digital media publisher and knowledgeable of sales & digital publishing process
  • Extremely detailed and organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinker and solution-oriented attitude
  • Is flexible and can deal effectively with changes in priorities or ambiguity
  • Thrive working in a fast-paced, multitasking, deadline-oriented environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
