Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, Programmatic

What We Need:
We’re looking for a seasoned sales leader who will manage our portfolio of our agency holding companies. The ideal candidate will combine proven experience managing and growing high-value partnerships with a deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, in order to drive optimum value for our programmatic partners. You will educate and support the global sales team by helping them uncover programmatic advertising budgets, navigate programmatic sales, and close new business.
Your Responsibilities:
- Own all strategic, operational, and technical aspects of relationships with programmatic agency and client leaders by developing friendly, collaborative, and long-term partnerships
- Own the execution of Agency holding company RFP/RFI process to obtain and maintain Yieldmo’s preferred provider/SSP certification status
- Oversee onboarding of new buyer demand and proactively find and execute optimization opportunities
- Collect customer and overall market feedback to guide Yieldmo’s programmatic strategy. Translate this feedback into product requirements and drive execution of new features with customers
- Partner with our internal product team to scope market opportunity for new pipes and integrations
- Understand and monitor key performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth or improvement
- Conduct regular business reviews with agency partners, employing a consultative, long term approach that builds productive relationships with stakeholders of all levels within the agency
- Analyze data and provide data-driven insights to improve our advertising programs
- Contribute to written strategy documents for Yieldmo leadership
Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified:
- 5+ years of work experience within online media buying/selling industry, with at least 2 years focused on agency holding companies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related fields
- 3+ years of experience partnering with SSPs, DSPs, and/or publishers
- Ability to travel 4+ times/quarter
- Knowledge of programmatic advertising space, header bidding, publisher products, SSPs, and DSPs, especially industry trends and challenges
- Deep understanding of how media (display and video) is bought, sold, and delivered programmatically across web, app, and OTT
- Ability to work independently to initiate and manage large strategic relationship and assess partnership viability and growth opportunities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across a broad range of technical and non-technical people
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, being comfortable with pulling reports, diving deep into the data and analyzing trends
- Team player with strong persuasion skills and proven ability to influence senior leadership
- Customer-driven product thinking and ability to identify and prioritize requests
- Proactive attitude with excellent project, organizational and time management skills
- Strong creative and strategic thinking skills
