The Role

NS1 is looking for an experienced channel sales executive to build strategic relationships with key channel partners and develop a scalable partnership program. We are looking for someone with broad experience developing and executing a comprehensive channel program that has familiarity with a variety of internet infrastructure and/or security products. This is a strategic role and you will be expected to drive results across cross-functional teams.

In this role you will:

  • Work with senior leadership across NS1 to develop the overall channel sales and partnership strategy.
  • Identify, establish and manage key partner relationships and programs across verticals to support each of NS1’s products.
  • Develop strategies and processes to enhance revenue potential from existing partners.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to ensure that partners have ongoing marketing, sales and account support.

Your Skills:

  • 15+ years in a channel role, with a proven capability to build, scale and lead an effective channel sales organization.
  • Cross-functional leader and team player that can drive strategy and execution across the organization.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to execute without the assistance of a large supporting organization.
  • Ability to open doors and build deep relationships with partners at senior levels within their organizations
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales of software and managed services

Nice to have:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of the internet infrastructure domain
  • Experience with DNS solutions, content delivery networks, cloud services and / or security solutions.

NS1 Technology Stack:

  • Our globally distributed platform is comprised of many subsystems including:
    • Custom built DNS software that’s deployed on physical hardware and an anycasted network that spans nearly 30 facilities globally
    • REST API, and Portal
    • Deployment automation, CI/CD, unit/integration testing
    • Monitoring, metrics collection and alerting
    • Traffic load balancing, filtering, and DDoS mitigation tools
    • Messaging, persistent DB and caching systems
  • Other technologies and integrations include:
    • Linux, Ansible, Docker & other container platforms
    • BGP, BPF/IPTables, SDN, packet analysis
    • MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQL
    • Python (Twisted), Bash, C, C++14, React, Redux, D3
    • Hadoop/HDFS/OpenTSDB, Grafana, Bosun
    • Integrations with third party SaaS, APIs, and libraries, various Open Source projects including REST API clients and integrations
