POSITION:

The Senior Manager / Director of Business Operations, Order to Cash will work with the VP of Global Commercial Finance andlead internal process improvement and integration activities across the Order to Cash portfolio, (Accounts Receivable, Invoice Management, Credit & Collections and Cash). Additional capabilities include Sales Commissions and Tax Management.

You will establish operating processes maps to increase productivity and operational efficiencies across sales tools, finance operations and legal while ensuring governance and controls across Quote to Cash (NetSuite, Xactly, SalesForce, CPQ, Master Data Management, etc.).

The successful candidate will be responsible for design, development, strategy and management to support the organization in itshyper-growth. He/She will work with the Finance Leadership in developing a target operating model to create a best in class O2Cfinance operations for the company.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Manage the implementation and automations for all the O2C Systems, ERP, Tools and Workflow across finance operations and create a CoE while driving quality and Continuous Improvement Frameworks. Be proactive in identify and recommend creative ideas to improve business operations workflows and capabilities.
  • Drive results. Own the portfolio of projects, and lead projects to achieve desired goals and benefits aligned to planned timelines and budgets. This includes defining SLA and Performance Measurement / Management, work force Management and optimization, Billing Process optimization and Revenue Leakage Elimination, Cash Flow and Working Capital Optimization.
  • Develop end to end documentation, SLA’s, Metrics and Rules of Engagement process flows.
  • Design and implement new processes, policies, procedures and implement new technology to enable greater efficiency and scalability as well as enhance the adequacy and effectiveness in the controls within the company s processes.
  • Manage 3rd party commercial best-of-breed solutions (NetSuite, Salesforce, CPQ, CLM, Alvalera).
  • Develop use cases and document processes to drive project to completion and create efficiencies.
  • Establish, administer, and maintain metrics to measure and track performance of the team. Measure performance against standards and drive continuous improvement. Design and prepare clear and accurate reporting and KPI Metrics to department, business units and executive management.
  • Become a trusted advisor. Partner with senior business leads to understand their operational issues and opportunities (business processes) and create technical solutions to scale business operations and ensure compliance and efficiencies.
  • Engage with senior business leaders to define long term strategic plans and integrated process, data and technology roadmaps to optimize operations.
  • Responsible for interpreting customer contracts to understand billing requirements and provide for proper revenue recognition.
  • Identify opportunities for Robotic Process Automation and make processes “RPA ready”.

To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • BA/BS in accounting, finance, economics; Information Systems preferred as is Six Sigma certification with a change oriented / business transformation mind-set.
  • Experience enabling Order to Cash, Sales Commissions and Tax in a technology software world.
  • Combined 7+ years of experience in the following areas: Order to Cash ERP implementation.
  • Proven experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement, utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change and automation.
  • Deep and innate operational orientation, with a keen ability to drive results and improvements across the business.
  • Creative, Analytical and Change oriented.
  • Background within a multi-national, multi-location environment with a high volume of transactions, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functional and geographic boundaries is required
  • High-value personal qualities such as critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence, manage several concurrent projects, work in teams, resourceful, accountable, responsible, tenacious, independent, self-confident, high-energy, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an engaging personality. A proven ability to effectively interface with a diverse range of roles at all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills. Able to influence, guide and convince.
  • SOX experience within publicly-traded companies.
  • Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting is a plus.
  • Prior consulting experience a plus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15- 25 % travel.
