Job Description

Dailymotion is seeking a hybrid sales/account manager superstar! We are looking for a resourceful Senior Manager, Programmatic Sales with programmatic media sales and/or account management experience, agency/trading desk relationships, drive, and an entrepreneurial spirit. 

Primary responsibilities include building relationships with media agencies, advertisers and trading desks, and understanding how to best position Dailymotion’s media solution to drive direct sales. This person is a team player that takes initiative and has a proven record building partnerships that last. The ideal candidate must be a digital and programmatic expert with deep knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of programmatic sales offerings including data products, viewability & fraud metrics, and RTB. 

The Senior Manager, Programmatic Sales, must excel in client-facing situations while also successfully working cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure growth in programmatic omni-channel revenue across both display & video & CTV/OTT. This person must be a creative thinker, proactive, pragmatic, flexible and attentive to detail. This role reports into the Vice President of Global Programmatic & Strategic Partnerships.

Role & Responsibilities Include:

  • Grow Dailymotion’s media revenue by calling on digital media agencies and their clients. Expand revenue from existing clients and build and close a new business pipeline.
  • Ownership of Sales pipeline from pre-sales to post-sales
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, operations and partnerships teams
  • Meet with and entertain clients & grow relationships through thorough account management of these client accounts
  • Use your excellent presentation and communication skills to curate pitches to fit the narrative for specific advertisers and pitch to media buying teams
  • Primary focus on sales efforts with programmatic activation and management of those client accounts thereafter
  • An individual contributor role, with possibility of management down the line

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years experience in digital media space
  • Proven sales and/or account management performance with agencies, trading desks, and direct to advertiser
  • Experience with data management platforms (DMP), agencies/brands, and agency trading desks; Experience with ad servers, demand-side platforms (DSP), and supply-side platforms (SSP) is a plus.
  • Accountability/Ownership through all stages of client business: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and maintaining & growing close partnerships thereafter
  • Self-motivated and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven record of success driving revenue and new business development and/or agency/brand facing account management with strong performance in upselling and growing revenue
  • Video-specific sales experience a plus!
  • Willing to travel
