Senior Sales Engineer
The Particle team is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to take on a Senior leadership role and help drive our next phase of growth. You’ll sit at the intersection of our Product and Sales efforts, helping key prospects understand how to leverage our offerings to transform their business and realize the potential of a national healthcare data network.
You’ll draw on your previous experience to improve and manage the Sales Engineering function. You’ll be an expert both in our product and in the broader interoperability landscape. On key sales calls and in follow ups you’ll lead the technical conversation, speaking high level and diving into the details, tailoring your message based on a range of factors, oozing credibility, and delighting in delivering above and beyond what’s expected. Finally, based on your external interactions you’ll have the opportunity to directly impact our product roadmap and strategic direction.
Previous healthcare/healthtech Sales Engineering experience, particularly working with APIs and/or healthcare data interoperability, is required.
Responsibilities
- Present and sell Particle’s vision, technical products, and healthcare related concepts to executives and technical stakeholders
- Tailor your messaging based on customer type, use case, and demonstrated needs
- Investigate and answer challenging technical questions
- Lead technical qualification and support implementation
- Constantly work to improve the Particle Sales Engineering strategy and processes
- Become an expert in key industry products and trends
- Exude credibility, confidence, and empathy; being passionate about making our clients successful
- Builds relationships within the account to become the trusted technical advisor
- Create and maintain pre-sales material and collateral
- Participate in key events/conferences, innovation initiatives, and product team
Requirements
- 5+ years in a Sales Engineering role at a healthtech SaaS company or Enterprise software company
- Experience selling and implementing API related products
- Experience with EMR Integrations
- Experience with backend systems, SQL and cloud infrastructure.
- Passion to solve complex and challenging health data interoperability issues
- Experience designing / managing Sales Engineering strategy and processes
- Serious attention to detail
