What This Role is About:
RapidSOS is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer with a proven track record in a technical sales role. You will play a major role in RapidSOS’s Sales organization and will own the technical sales process. You will lead the technical and product sale conversations, recommend best-practice solutions, and guide clients on how to use RapidSOS’s APIs and other products.
What You'll Do:
Build and present product demos to help showcase product functionalities
Create Pilot and Proof-of-Concept implementations
Deliver pre-sales technical presentations and demonstrations to clients and prospects
Build trusted advisor relationships with clients
Partner with Account Executives & Business Development Reps assist in developing account/opportunity strategies, planning and execution
Work cross functionally with the sales, engineering, product and public safety teams.
Create documentation and specifications to support technical sales initiatives and prospect presentations
Translate client requirements into technical solution documents for product and engineering teams
Identify technical risks and assist in overcoming limitations both internally and external
Ability to travel 25%-30% of the time.
What We'd Like to See in Our Ideal Candidate:
5+ years pre-sales experience selling complex, technical API-based products
Familiarity with the following tech stack: Python, React, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS
Experience building with and supporting REST APIs
Cloud platform experience (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
Ability to deliver a balance between product knowledge, communication skills and sales aptitude
Contact Center and Home and/or Commercial Security experience is a plus
Understanding of Telecom, VoIP, VoLTE, LTE, e911 and Public Safety Systems is a plus
