The revenue operations team is the backbone that helps the go-to-market (GTM) team run effectively. Our job is to manage the full funnel operations across the customer lifecycle and provide the organization documentation and expertise needed for the teams to function efficiently.

The Senior Salesforce Administrator is really good at building, advising, and orchestrating the development of Chainalysis’ enterprise Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform. We measure success by maximizing efficiencies and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of SFDC, based on our various user group needs.

In one year you’ll know you were successful if you…

  • Serve as one of the co-owners of system administration for SFDC environment.
  • Proactively seek out and identify needed system changes.
  • Project manage all changes rolled out to SFDC ensuring that all users understand changes prior to rollout.
  • Maintain, enhance, and create workflows, functions, and configurations within the SFDC environment. 
  • Maintain system security and integrity, with regard to all user information - this includes updates; adding/removing licenses; reassigning profile information; designing, creating and maintaining roles and hierarchies; monitoring usage/storage.
  • Assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
  • Support with the procurement and implementation of third-party products.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation to support new functionality or process enhancements. 
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the SFDC skill set across Chainlaysis.
  • Are the “go-to person” for users - including basic updates (add/delete users, create custom fields, etc) - you’ll promote adoption
  • Keep current on new releases and AppExchange solutions
  • Monitor, own and improve data quality. 

A background like this helps: 

  • You have a passion for building scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • You are comfortable working in a Lightning environment, with an understanding of how to leverage its benefits and overcome its challenges.
  • You have an in-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application architecture coupled with a good understanding around the business processes (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, etc.).
  • You are highly organized but willing to adjust direction when necessary.
  • You feel comfortable working behind the scenes to champion accurate data, deadlines, and accountability.
  • You are self-motivated, take initiative to fix problems when you see them, and seek out opportunities to grow professionally  
  • You have exceptional communication skills including ability to take an independent stance when interfacing with cross functional stakeholders, while maintaining their respect and confidence.
  • Bonus if you have experience with CPQ.
  • Extra bonus if you have experience as a Salesforce Developer.

Our company is located in the heart of Union Square with plenty of bars, gyms, and restaurants that are within walking distance. We have the F train one block away from the office, the N/R/W/4/5/6/L trains located 2 blocks away and the 1/2/3 trains three blocks away.
