As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for SMS, your role will help expand Yotpo’s newest and fastest growing product line - SMS Marketing. We are scaling at a rapid pace as more and more eCommerce brands adopt this channel, making it critical for us to find candidates who tackle challenges head on and thrive in fast-paced environments. Our team will help you build the skills to advance your career in sales at Yotpo and beyond. 

51% of eCommerce brands indicate they plan to adopt an SMS marketing solution in 2021. 

We are looking for high-energy, creative, driven professionals with sound business acumen and natural sales instincts to join our SMS sales team and help bring those brands on board.

You will:

  • Evaluate and qualify e-commerce companies (and their marketing strategies) for us to work with, while problem solving and finding solutions for their needs.
  • Prospect new business opportunities - calling into brands the caliber of GoPro, Moroccan Oil and Brooklinen - and introduce them to the Yotpo SMS offering through creative outreach techniques and strategies
  • Work closely with our SMS Account Executives to close business, continuously focusing on the development of your sales skills.
  • Learn the intricacies of sales processes: quotas, pipeline management, selling and ultimately closing techniques.
  • Consistently contribute enthusiasm, support, and encouragement to other SDR team members as a leader on the sales floor.

About you:

  • 1-3 years of outbound prospecting
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and outside-the-box
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks within deadlines
  • eCommerce experience is a plus
  • Must have a valid U.S. work authorization to apply

Bonus points for: 

  • Any experience working with Marketing Automation or for an eCommerce brand. 
  • Experience in fast-growing tech start up.
