How you'll make an impact at Collibra:

The Solution Architect will be responsible for the overall services delivery and customer satisfaction of assigned Professional Services engagements.  Your focus will be spread across multiple customers and you'll work directly with key project and executive stakeholders throughout the entire project life-cycle to ensure customer success and adoption.

The Solution Architect is responsible for the execution within Collibra delivery methodology, timely deliverables and overall satisfaction of the customer in the context of Professional Services engagements.   

The Solutions Architect must understand software implementation best practices as well as be extremely knowledgeable about the Collibra technology, architecture, implementation approach, delivery methodology and best practices. 

A day in the life of a Solution Architect at Collibra:

You’ll be reporting directly to the Director, Global Services Delivery, and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

Customer Professional Services Engagements:

  • Assist Services Managers with statements of work (SOW) scoping and level of effort estimations
  • Assist Solution Implementation Managers with project plan development
  • Manage customer sponsor relationships
  • Lead blueprint and design workshops
  • Lead requirements gathering activities
  • Create Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) models including assets, relationships, domains and communities
  • Define workflow, security and integration requirements
  • Define dashboard and reporting requirements
  • Define technical architecture including sizing development, QA, production environments and disaster recovery.
  • Write functional specifications, technical specifications, test specifications and test scripts
  • Configure DGC based on customer requirements and specifications
  • Document case studies, best practices and lessons learned
  • Create solution templates that will accelerate future implementations
  • Participate in Collibra community forums and blogs
  • Work as contributor with Collibra Sales, Sales Engineers, Customer Success, and Professional Services Management to grow Collibra adoption with both assigned customer base
  • Achieve utilization targets and help Collibra to grow its services business
  • Mentor assigned peers and new hires to ensure adoption of delivery methodology and delivery of work, and to ensure that company objectives are met.
  • Ensure services delivery in compliance with established Collibra Engagement Model, Processes, Methodologies and Artifacts
  • Participate in the ongoing improvements of Collibra Engagement Model, Processes, Methodologies and Artifacts
  • Willingness to travel up as necessary
You Have:
  • Education: At least a bachelor’s or equivalent degree in a business, technical or related field is preferred
  • Experience: 5-10 years Consulting or Management Experience
  • Understanding of core data management and data governance technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and business requirements
  • Proven track record with delivery of projects and related deliverables on time, on budget
  • Ability to position additional products and services into existing accounts
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with implementation methodologies
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to build and deliver presentations to all levels of the business effectively explaining complex matters and measurements of engagement outcomes to success criteria
  • Ability to mentor peers
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Proven high customer satisfaction track record
