EMPLOYER:    Collibra, Inc.

TITLE:          Solution Engineer, Coaching Services

HOURS:        40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

LOCATION:    New York, NY, with option to work remotely in any location nationally


DUTIES:       Provide strategic guidance and advisory expertise to navigate challenging technical decisions in a dynamic environment. Work with strategic partners to assess workflow constructs and logic, as well as educate customers on our Collibra API, including REST, Java, and Groovy. Analyze and develop Mulesoft workflows and assist in integrating software with our Collibra Data Governance Center. Analyze and develop Activiti/Flowable workflows, provide feedback in preferred methods and best practices on governance strategies. Advise on operating modeling and meta-model inquiries. Contribute to our Collibra knowledge base and play a role in further developing our growing solutions repository. Deliver enterprise application integration leveraging ESBs, perform data governance, meta-model structure and apply best practices while working closely with other software developers. Work with Account Managers and Product Teams to ensure success of Collibra’s customers. EOE

REQTS:        Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or as a Software Developer, or a related position. Must have five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with: MuleESB; Java; Business Process Analysis; Restful API; RAML; Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) best practices and design principles; using Anypoint platform and Eclipse; MySQL; MSSQL; tuning and configuring Mule Servers on premise and CloudHub; XML; JSON; XSLT; writing and running Munit and Junit tests; continuous delivery tools including Git, Maven, and Jenkins; cloud based infrastructure platforms including AWS; optimizing and simplifying complex software code; Bash/Unix; and implementing software design and architectural patterns. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in a stated field of study plus three (3) years of experience. Pre or post-Master’s degree experience is accepted. Any suitable combination of education, experience, and training is acceptable.
