SOLUTIONS SALES SPECIALIST
T-REX is seeking a Solutions Sales Specialist (SREP) to accelerate the growth and success of our business. This ideal candidate is a sales professional with experience positioning software solutions and services across fixed income and/or project finance markets. The SREP is ultimately responsible for contributing to T-REX’s top-line growth targets.
What you’ll do:
The Solutions Sales Specialist (SREP) is a generalist sales professional responsible for developing and cultivating future sales pipeline and closing new business. The SREP works closely with Marketing and the Client Development team members across the sales lifecycle, from pre-sale through current client up-sell. Key initiatives include lead-generation, prospect qualification, demonstrations and solutions-scoping, commercial negotiation and initial onboarding plans. The SREP will stay well informed regarding industry trends and developments, market and product knowledge and competitor trends, and will remain competent with T-REX solutions and product demonstrations. The SREP is ultimately responsible for advancing the sales cycle across their designated territory and client-base, resulting in top-line growth of our business.
Functions will include:
Develop and manage prospect pipeline and relationships
Lead generation, prospect qualification
Solutions overlay, demonstrations, and value-proposition positioning
Manage the sales cycle
Scope product/solutions requirements and present solutions blueprint
Present commercial framework and negotiate commercial terms
Plan initial onboarding and ensure smooth hand-off to Client Success Team
Grow assets under management (AUM)
Identify and confirm addressable AUM, gain commitment to onboard AUM
Identify and develop relationships across additional groups within prospects and clients, leading to further AUM onboarding potential
Maximize annual contract value
Identify and pursue opportunities to increase ACV across current prospects and clients
Negotiate up-sell opportunities and close additional ACV
Collaborate on process and product improvements
Product development ideas and prioritization, and process improvement collaboration
What we’re looking for
5+ years experience selling into financial markets (preferably fixed income and/or project finance markets), understanding of the investment lifecycle
Understanding of analytical and/or data management solutions for financial institutions, across any sector of the investment lifecycle
Experience selling financial analytics and/or data management solutions
Excited by the day to day activity of a quota-driven sales professional
Be a problem-solver, willing to take initiative and get the bottom of the most complex issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex topics and models to people with varying backgrounds
Team player with the ability to work independently and drive processes across the team
