Job Description

Butterfly, is preparing for the next phase of growth, and is building out the Strategic  Accounts Team.  The Regional Sales Director, Strategic Accounts is an individual contributor role responsible for being a true hunter in a defined territory selling across three primary verticals within healthcare: Integrated Delivery Networks, Post-Acute and Value Based Care. Strategic opportunities can be highly customizable and require a skill set that can build solutions from the ground up.  This position is responsible for leading a complex sales cycle which includes working closely with internal and external stakeholders such as: product development, IT, training, implementation, client experience, marketing and clinical leadership. This position requires a healthcare expert that is seen as a thought leader and strategic advisor to a strong rolodex of healthcare executives.

As part of the team, core responsibilities will be:

  • Ability to get in front of the health system “C-suite” and drive strategic conversations and presentations around large enterprise partnerships which may contemplate complexing contracting mechanisms that are non standard
  • Create a strategic sales plan, build pipeline, identify new sales opportunities within a territory, and close business to obtain a defined quota
  • Manage a continuous forecast through Salesforce.com using Butterfly defined process and procedures for tracking opportunities, activities and tasks
  • Analytical skills and a background in working with finance on creative pricing models required for driving large strategic partnerships
  • Vast knowledge and experience across the healthcare landscape, including: value-based care delivery, fee-for-service, technology integrations, healthcare revenue cycle, physician work-flow and payer models (including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid & Commercial)
  • Be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, agile and fast paced environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field required
  • 7+ years of experience selling complex and non-standard SaaS contracts into health systems, managing a defined territory
  • Contracting and negotiations experience required
  • Strong rolodex of c-suite relationships within the healthcare market and the ability to leverage those relationships for new partnerships with Butterfly
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, customer service, relationships management, time management and team building skills
  • Expert in administrative technology: Salesforce CRM, G Suite, Slack, Asana and other technology tools
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Strong ability and a proven track record managing a quota and pipeline
  • Ability to travel up to 60%

Additional skills preferred:

  • Formal sales training completed: Miller Heiman, Targeted Account Selling or Sandler
  • Intellectually curious, strategic, and thrive on diving into complex problems. Be able to  develop and articulate clear fact-driven recommendations
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup a plus
  • Experience exceeding sales targets with a proven ability to generate in excess of $10 million in revenue sales per annum
