Joining Collibra's Strategic BDR team:

  • As a Strategic Business Development Representative at Collibra you will be joining as the most senior individual contributor on a team of hardworking, goal oriented and high-achieving business development representatives. Focused on driving strategic enterprise prospects into the sales cycle and supporting your SAM with pipe build activities. You will also help with coaching and mentoring junior business development staff.
  • As the face and voice of Collibra, you will serve as our prospect’s trusted advisor, helping to educate and nurture them through the early stages of the sales cycle and to create velocity and speed to win deals. You will work as a team with Strategic Account Manager  (SAM) to ensure that Collibra is delivering prospects both the attention they deserve, and the guidance they need to fully grasp Collibra’s value and become a win and new or expanding customer for Collibra.

Strategic BDRs at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Architect targeted account campaigns with SAMs and the marketing team.
  • Hunt down prospects and qualify to understand their buying aptitude and utilizing advanced prospecting skills. KPIs will include prospecting for discovery calls and qualified opportunities for your SAM. 
  • Engage in prospect facing meetings to introduce Collibra, as well as assess where our solution fits into their needs.
  • Nurture and educate prospects to help them understand Collibra’s value, and help them navigate into a formal evaluation process while supporting your SAMs to close deal cycles.
  • Act as a mentor and guide to junior team members to help Collibra expand quickly in the market.

You have:

  • 2+ years of Enterprise lead development experience, SaaS preferred
  • You have a hunter’s mentality with a history of overachievement generating qualified sales opportunities and overall quota achievement.
  • Demonstrated effective time management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • 2+ years experience using high impact prospecting skills to navigate large institutions while engaging C-level/ line of business executives
  • Salesforce.com proficiency to build prospecting reports and research accounts and contacts.

You are:

  • An excellent communicator with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Are comfortable engaging both high and wide in accounts and can effectively pursue C-level and business-line executives
  • Looking for growth opportunities to become a field sales rep
  • Energetic, ambitious, and passionate; pioneering a growing and successful team

Reporting to Collibra's Inside Sales Manager, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will get set for onboarding, get comfortable with the systems and processes, get to know the Collibra teams, solution and tooling
  • Within your third month, you will be fully ramped, build rapport with cross-functional teams and be proficient with the Collibra value proposition
  • Within your sixth month, you will be able to showcase the Collibra platform, achieving performance metrics
