About The Role
Tropic is looking for a Strategic Partner Manager who will be responsible for owning and growing a set of strategic partners in sectors like online/digital banking, private equity, venture capital, consultancies, and SaaS businesses. Partnerships are central to Tropic’s growth strategy, and this position will put you in the driver’s seat for some of our most critical relationships. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who is excited about joining a rapid-growth startup.
What You’ll Work On
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing partners by creating a framework and process to scale the value for Tropic and our partners
- Develop and execute partner engagement strategies to drive revenue and brand evangelism
- Educate partners on new product offerings, promotions, and product updates
- Enable partners to properly position Tropic in the market, ensuring partners contribute to pipeline generation in order to achieve defined targets
- Track, report, and optimize the performance of partnerships, including identifying issues as they arise, assessing possible solutions, and executing them
- Collaborate with partners on new content marketing initiatives
- Represent Tropic at various events, meetups, and trade shows
- Stay on top of industry trends and new practices to enhance program process and maintain overall competitiveness within the marketplace
- Ensure that Tropic is thoroughly evangelized inside every partner and deliver a great experience. Tropic should be everyone’s best partner.
Who You Are
- 4-6 years experience in sales, business development and/or partnerships at a SaaS company
- Strategic and analytical thinker
- Strong and natural relationship builder
- Detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Superior communication skills with strong objection handling abilities
- Performance and growth driven mentality; meeting or exceeding quarterly targets
Extras
- Experience with partner relationship management, customer relationship management, and/or marketing automation tools
- Excitement for and experience with early stage startups
- Experience in presenting to external stakeholders
