The Job - Sales Development Associate - Strategic Accounts
As a Strategic Sales Development Associate you will have a direct impact on the business and contribute to Justworks’ success as the company expands into new markets. You will connect and establish key relationships with decision makers at companies defined at the “strategic” level.
As a critical member of the sales team, you will work closely with Strategic Account Executives to open up opportunities, enhance territory strategy, and qualify prospects. You will strengthen your understanding of the PEO landscape and become familiar with its dynamic environment.
What you'll do
- Leverage outbound lead campaigns including, but not limited to cold calling, email, and social media, to qualify potential B2B sales prospects
- Use Salesforce and other sales tools to manage your outbound pipeline
- Craft outbound messaging to targeted prospects
- Report to management on performance results and industry/prospect trends
- Initiate sales conversations with key decision makers at target companies
- Develop a strong demo pipeline for Strategic Account Executives via phone and email communication
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Justworks platform, industry trends, and competitors
- Go on-site and meet with top prospects, as needed
- Meet predetermined pipeline creation and revenue goals
- Help influence outreach strategy by providing feedback to management
- Have a great time in a hard-working, yet casual environment
QualificationsWho you are:
- 1-3 years experience in sales or a related field
- Highly goal-oriented, competitive and driven to overachieve
- Track record of consistent performance during your tenure as a sales representative
- Thrive in fast-paced, rapidly changing, demanding, yet passionate environments
- You love data - you only make decisions that are backed up by the numbers
- A great social networker, driven by master technology’s ability to open doors
- Have experience recovering from failure in positive ways
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Hardworking, persistent, and dependable
- Experience with human capital management, business solutions, consulting, HR, payroll, benefits business systems and processes, and software helpful, but not required
