Job Title: Sustainable Products Sales Coordinator

Location: Manhattan, NY

Comp range: $55-60k with potential for 10% bonus

Why this role exists:

Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role exists to support an ambitious and motivated wholesale sales team, communicate directly with customers and reps and coordinate with cross functional teams.

Required Experience:

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Houseware experience is preferred, but any CPG is helpful
  • Experience bringing consumer goods to the market, in both wholesale and direct to consumer environments
  • Have experience working with the following:
    • Excel
    • SKUs
    • Sales decks
  • Account Management experience preferred, but not necessary

Objective Outcomes:

  • You will support the sales team and help improve efficiency as sales volume increases
  • You will maintain regular contact with independent reps through weekly email updates and assist them in lead conversion
  • You will route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executive/rep for further development and closure
  • You will close sales to achieve quarterly quotas
  • You will maintain and expand your database of prospects
  • You will manage and grow new and existing online accounts
  • You will have involvement in everything from planogramming to product launches to
  • You will provide analysis of sales data for strategic sales decisions
  • You will work cross-functionally, coordinating with Operations on wholesale fulfillment, Marketing with promotions & trade shows, and Product Development on product feedback

Hard Skills:

  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong understanding of the retail marketplace and supply chain
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Strong communication, persuasion and story-telling skills
