Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for an exceptional candidate to join our sales team with a focus on driving adoption and revenue amongst institutional partnerships. An ideal hire will have deep and nuanced Institutional Asset Management/Defined Contribution Administration experience and be prepared to consistently deliver on revenue targets. As a self-starter, s/he should be an expert presenter, problem solver, and people person. A candidate should thrive off challenges, be quick on their feet, and inherently know how to make the complex simple. S/he should possess an insatiable desire to constantly learn and improve, along with the highest levels of integrity, accountability, and honesty in all interactions. As a leader, this person must be a source of resolution when solving complex issues, and must solve these problems with discretion and grace.

What will you be doing at Vestwell?

  • Driving revenue and market share in several strategic industry verticals
  • Maintaining a robust sales pipeline with efficiency
  • Persuasively articulating a compelling value proposition in a competitive marketplace
  • Developing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Ensuring world-class customer service
  • Identifying and solving enterprise-level challenges
  • Supporting our established reputation as a thought leader and industry disruptor

Requirements

  • 5+ years of 401(k)/Asset Management related sales or business development experience
  • Proven track record of identifying, developing, negotiating, closing, and sustaining enterprise-level partnerships
  • Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • A roll-up your sleeves, team-oriented attitude
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required
